About Me |
I started
"mudding" in '94 or '95. It was before Windows 95 was released anyways.
It was on a Unix terminal in the university dorms and it had a 12" pea
green monochrome monitor. Joy.
I tried the Discworld Mud for
the first time in '98 due to my interest in the books. Due to a very
strongly misplaced sense of loyalty to another mud (oh, the shame) I
only played for about 3 weeks before quitting. I tried again many other
times only to quit due to one reason or another. I finally started full
time in 2002 and haven't quit since although I did take a six month
break one year.
I met Paula (actually her mud character
Safiiri which has unfortunately idled out now) when Flarfeneh asked me
to join to their group in early 2004. I accepted and I kept in touch
with Safiiri/Smaragdi/Paula and from there on a great relationship
started. We found we have very similar ideas about life and enjoy many
of the same things :).
Eventually, we decided to try meeting
in Finland and I got a passport and tickets and whatnot and we met for
the first time in September 12th of 2004 and definitely fell in love
<3. After many more trips, we got married in Finland on February
14th, 2006. On the 23rd of March, I moved to Finland and we've been
living happily together since :).
